Why did President Polk go to war with Mexico?

indent the first line of each paragraph
use margins of at least one inch on all four sides of each page
•use a flushed left margin
use a ragged right margin (to avoid hard-to-read irregular spacing of flush-right margin)
place one space and only one between sentences and after colons
place periods and commas before closing quote marks
place the source note number in the text AFTER a clause or a sentence, AFTER a comma or period, and AFTER the close quote mark
place the source note number in the text BEFORE a semi-colon, colon, or m-dash
use double quotation marks and, if needed, single marks therein
•use “down style” capitalization in your text
consult the style sheet regarding spelling, punctuation, grammar, source notes, bibliography
