Project Objectives:

The objective of the project is to analyze the “ macro economics” environment and formulate a recommendation to invest or not in a assigned emerging country in a particular touristic destination chosen by you in the assign country. Long-term country macroeconomic forecast for the coming 10 years should also been attempted.

Brief:

For successful completion of this macroeconomic project, you will need to conduct a SWOT and a PESTLE analysis of the macroeconomics of a pre-determined country, underlining the major economical challenges facing investors like yourself: you will use those macroeconomics to evaluate the current situation and future economic prospects of our hotel & leisure industry; stressing particularly on how it is affected by the global and national macroeconomics environment and how a successful long term sustainability of a particular touristic destination may be achieved.

 

You will use the macroeconomics theory and concepts of the chapters used during the course reading as a supporting framework and basis for the evaluation and analysis for your report.

 

Important issues to consider:

– Tourism (why people come to Brazil + 3 important tourist attractions)

– History of Brazil economic + Word and nation Macroeconomics background.

– The country competitive market structure in our global world.

– Analysis and evaluation of the current macroeconomics policies.
