Task:

• Nurse educator (staff development or nursing faculty)

• Clinical specialist (nurse practitioner, certified nurse-midwife, nurse anesthetist, or clinical nurse specialist)
• Staff nurse (full-time specialty area with a BSN or MSN)
• Nurse researcher (clinical research or research implementation)
B. Conduct a second interview with one nurse from one of the following specialties that is different from the specialty chosen for part A using the attached “Interview Form”:
• Nurse educator (staff development or nursing faculty)
• Administrator (chief nursing officer or clinical administrator)
• Clinical specialist (nurse practitioner, certified nurse-midwife, nurse anesthetist, or clinical nurse specialist)
• Staff nurse (full-time specialty area with a BSN or MSN)
• Nurse researcher (clinical research or research implementation)
C. Compare the two specialties based on your interview results for each question in the interview.

Note: If one interviewee cannot answer a question, compare the unanswered question with the answered one. If neither interview can answer a question, provide a possible rationale for their inability or unwillingness to answer the question.

D. Reflect on your findings for each question asked in the two interviews and how the findings contribute to your own professional development (suggested length of 1–2 pages).
