1. Describe, in detail, a specific situation in which you had difficulty remaining open, enthusiastic, and/or caring with a friend. Explain the situation and explore the reason for this feeling. What were the results? What, if anything, could you have done to change the situation?
One of the situation I had being open was when I was in a relationship and when we had a problem in the relationship and my girlfriends wanted to sit down and talk about the problem and come to an understanding on how she feels and my opinion on my feeling on her. The result weren’t really successful because am not the type of person to open up about my feeling I guess it makes me feel less of a man I guess for me to express my feeling and to talk and explore the situation. What I could have done to change the situation would be for me to give this problem a chance and open up and tell her my thoughts and feeling on what I think.

2. Describe, in detail, a specific situation where you had power or authority over others. Explain how you handled it. Describe the response of the people over whom you had authority. As you look back, did you use that poor fairly? How do you know? Would you handle the situation the same way now, or differently?
When work on a drilling rig as a motorman I had power over 2 of the roughneck underneath me, I had the responsible to get them to organize and prepare them for the next task we are going to encounter. I had to get the roughneck trained up on a pacific job that 2 of them should be able to complete without me watching over them. A situation I had power is when I would have the roughneck get the cellar ready to nipple up the BOP. I handle it by asking them if they know what they are supposed to do to get the job done or if there something there not sure of that they could ask me, so it would make the process go by smoothly. The response of the roughneck I had authority over were understand of what need to be done. They weren’t very combative they know there on the bottom of the totem pole and the only way for them to move up is to be able to take order without arguing. I don’t think I use my power unpoorly if you are not assertive with them nothing gets done in a timely order. How do I know because they know it’s not an easy job to do and they know what to expect when getting the job it is important to listen to orders. I would think I would handle the situation any different because if you’re not assertive with the you are in charge of and thing don’t get done the whole crew will be out of a job because nothing get done.

4. Describe a specific situation where you help someone solve a personal problem. What did this person learn from this situation? What did you learn?
Well my friend move out of his old town house he was renting and his friends left damage to the place that he had to pay for before he gets his damage deposit it back. And never had enough to pay for the other place he was moving into so I lent him some money for the damage deposit and first month rent so he wouldn’t lose his place he was moving into. I learn that you shouldn’t let your rowdy friends move in with you because at the end you’ll be pay for it.
