Criminal Justice

The class is a capstone in criminal justice and criminology. This assignment is the first stage of my capstone project. The project requires us to create an action plan (policy) that will help with combating criminal behaviour in an agency that does not have that specific policy already in place.

The third and fourth upload titled “ConceptPaperSample1” and “ConceptPaperSample2” is two samples in which my paper has to look like. Be sure that the information and layout are similar to that paper.

This is not only a research paper. However, it is a policy that I am introducing into an agency that already does not have that specific policy in place. All of this information is found under the conceptpapertopic upload. However, I will also include it here. My topic is to implement a parole condition that would require those paroled to take some sort of education programs if that is finishing up their GED’s, vocational, or college. The agency I am implementing this in is the New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. I also included the theory which is also required to be in the paper which is reintegration theory aka Reintegrative Shaming. “The concept paper is a 1-2 page proposal for the topic you intend to complete. Specifically, the concept paper should state the policy or strategy that will be covered, the agency it will be implemented, why the policy or strategy is necessary, and the criminology or criminal justice theory that will be employed to justify the policy or strategy’s potential success.”
