In about 200 words (not including the comment you are responding to), write AS THOUGH you are replying to this person’s comment- but doing so as someone who has studied religion in the United States from a scholarly perspective. 

Your grade will be based on the same criteria as always: level of engagement with class materials: 7 points; writing quality: 3 points. 

As this is a debate, a range of perspectives are acceptable. However, to receive a strong score your comment must demonstrate thoughtful engagement with course materials such as the Neusner textbook, the lecture on Islam, and the lecture on Church/ State separation from Module 1.
