How did the aims of the British measure up against the results of their actions? Give several examples (for example, how the desire for land played a factor) to support your argument.

Finally, once the American Revolution began, how did foreign help–for example, French and Spanish support–affect the outcome of the war? Give several examples of how and why to support your assertions.

An excellent answer for the essay will address the who, what, where, why, and how of the question to frame your answer. It will use at least:

– six references to the chapters.

– a reference to both podcasts in the section.

– a reference to one of the Wikipedia articles you wrote about in the discussion area for this section of the course.
