In this elements of theory paper, we will be convincing our peers of the value of using a specific theory to guide practice and evaluate care. We will be describing how nursing theory can impact patient satisfaction scores HCAHPS. HCAHPS is the acronym for Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey and it used to measure patients’ satisfaction score.
