A Raisin In the Sun

Please explore what makes the plays “A Raisin In the Sun” and “Awake and Sing” similar and different in regards to their thematic elements. Both plays share the theme of the American dream, as well as portray the lives of families from different cultures during a time of struggle and turmoil not only within their family, but socially as well. The plays are similar, but at the same time, they are different because of the different ways characters approach the situations their in.
