Introduction
Remember your actual journal entry should be somewhat brief; most of your time should be spent thinking about the questions asked and the issues raised. Your thoughts should then be distilled into a mini-argument that will respond affirmatively to the four tests for evaluating arguments: truthfulness of premises, logical strength, relevance, and non-circularity.

Choose a publicly traded company. Describe the industry conditions, the financial position of the company (relative to the industry and the company as a whole), the economic outlook of the company, and why you as a potential investor would or would not invest in this company.

The research paper specifications are as follows:
8-10 pages (double-spaced) Times New Roman 12 pt font. APA format.
Page count does not include Title, Abstract, Table of Contents, or Reference pages. Must have Abstract, Table of Contents, Introduction, Conclusion and section headings
Use at least five, but more references preferred.
In addition to the required number of pages for the assignment, you must also Include a reference page (bibliography), written in APA style and a title page.

In a 1,250-1,500 word paper, describe the problem or issue and propose a quality improvement initiative based on evidence-based practice. Summary: Summarize what you have read as if you were the author boiling down the book into one page (just like reading the jacket of a book to decide if you want to read the book itself). Prove that you comprehend the readings by writing a clear, concise summary of central themes. This section should be one page.
Concrete responses: Get vulnerable! In one page, relate a personal life episode that this book connected with in your own life experience. Relate your story in first person, describing action, quoting sentence
Describe the difference between research and quality improvement. Provide a workplace example where qualitative and quantitative research is applied and how it was used within your organization. When replying to peers, discuss how these research findings might be incorporated into another health care setting.
Provide an example of experimental, quasi-experimental, and nonexperimental research from the GCU Library and explain how each research type differs from the others. When replying to peers, evaluate the effectiveness of the research design of the study for two of the examples provided.
Criteria for Written Report
SUMMARY
Provide a clear discussion of 3 to 4 major themes or ideas from the book, and explain why the ideas are important. Summary should be thoughtful and accurate.
HOW BOOK WILL AFFECT YOU
The students will provide a minimum of two specific examples of how the material will affect them either now or in their future (or both). The examples should be clear, relevant and thoughtful.
QUOTATIONS
All quotations from the book are noted by citing page number in parentheses without the authors last name for example (48). Direct quotations are used appropriately throughout to support the students position.
ORGANIZATION, MECHANICS & FORMAT
There is a clear introduction, body and conclusion. The paper flows well and there are few, if any, spelling or grammatical errors.
