How Trinidad differs from the other islands that we have talked about: Trinidad changed hands many times between European ruling empires giving it a mix of languages, cultures and history from Spanish, French creole (Afro-French) and England. The time of slavery was relatively short in Trinidad.
Trinidad did not suffer as many economic hardships as some other islands. The 1970s created a booming economy. This created less of an oppressive situation for the poor (although not to say that people did and do not suffer hardships)

For your term paper you are going to gather information on research of a particular topic related to an area within Developmental Psychology.
Generally speaking, you should select a topic that is of interest to you, and gather information that can be related, but not confined to research studies, news stories, social issues, etc. However, you will be held responsible for finding at least one research article that addresses your topic of interest.
Whatever topic you select, you should be able to address what the area of interest or issue is, identify who is being impacted by it, what stage of development you are focusing on, and how this relates to the material that we have covered in class.

In Chapter 17 of the Fennelly text, the author discusses the two main categories of managing security risks. The core groups include Mandatory practices (required regulatory standards) and Benchmark (minimum standards used) practices.
For this discussion:
