Historical Argument

The project for this course should be centered on a historical argument that demonstrates an understanding of the consequences of World War I. You will
construct a fully researched, thesis-driven narrative paper containing both primary and secondary sources.

I would like to dive into Soldiers experience during the war and post war. I feel many of these soldiers coming from the western hemisphere experienced a whole different lifestyle. Some of these things may apply to weather, food, or even different tactical warfare they experienced. I also wanted to research the different ptsd's that these soldiers went through. World War 1 was nominated one of the most destructive wars of all time, as well as a gritty style of war for the soldiers. (This is my topic of choice) as for sources you may use any that you like....

Source analysis

This source analysis is a miniature version of your final project: It contains both a written analysis and an annotated bibliography and requires you to analyze both primary and secondary sources to understand a historical event. Your paper will 1) provide a thesis driven analysis that answers each question in the prompt and 2) analyze the sources themselves in an annotated bibliography. A source analysis paper is not an
opinion paper and should not contain your opinion on the events, but rather a thorough analysis of the information and your response to the questions provided.
Support your response with appropriate research and citations.

Any topic (writer’s choice)

* Reflect on several things that strike you in the chapter.  You may want to include an insight or an observation on the part of the author that you find interesting, thought-provoking, challenging, resonating, convicting, or even annoying and distressing. You may comment on things with which you agree or disagree.
* Your reflections need not be long, but they need to be specific enough to show that you have given the chapter a good read. A comment that reads, I like the chapter. It is interesting, does not count.
