These concepts appear in many theories/theoretical frameworks in social science, and there are numerous examples in the blocks of how they relate to work and leisure. Both concepts are also closely linked to values – ideas about what society ought to be like and why this matters. You may want to consider how values are embedded in the way the concepts and different theories of agency and structure are used to explain the topics of work and/or leisure.
