Purpose and Description: To “argue” in the context of this assignment does not mean to simply express a personal opinion. Length: 3-4 pages, typed, double-spaced, 12 pt., 1” margins
Points for Evaluation: 100 pts. These points will be based on your ability to illustrate the characteristics of argument, use of documentation, use of Standard English, and completeness of assignment.
Point of view: If used selectively, first (I, we, etc.) and second person (you, your) pts. of view can be used in this paper
Documentation and Sources: 3 sources (minimum 2 from library databases; no more than 1 Internet source; Wikipedia can be used as a starting point but should not be used as a source) MLA required; include a Works Cited that lists all sources cited within the paper
