UAE has signed and joined many international environmental treaties and conventions. One of the most important conventions is the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto protocol. Explain what is required to be done by UAE to comply with this treaty, and discuss different impacts of this treaty on the country’s laws and regulation as well as social and economic impacts on the country.

This assignment is intended to allow the learners to explore and critically think about the mechanisms of enforcement of international agreements and assessing all possible impacts (positive and negative) of joining international agreements. It will help applying the concepts offered in this course in an actual example that the learners experience in their daily lives.

Your work must be submitted in the following format:

It will help applying the concepts offered in this course in an actual example that the learners experience in their daily lives.

 

Guidelines for Completion Your work must be submitted in the following format:

  • A suitable title of your work in a separate title page, the submitted work should be divided into sections such as, (1) introduction, (2) literature review including description of treaty, lessons learned from other countries, (3) analysis which will include what can be implemented in UAE, and what is relevant to UAE out of all what you found in literature, (4) conclusion and recommendations explaining and highlighting your personal point of view that was driven from your previous readings and analysis. Your submitted work must be supported by strong references with proper citations.
  • You should demonstrate ability to present, share and discuss your work with your colleagues with an appropriate presentation tool during week 15.

Your work will be submitted to turn-it in assignment software, there will be marks deduction for any similarities more than 20%. (1 marks for each 5% similarity more than 20%), if similarity report exceeded 50 percent the work will be rejected, and returned back to the learner for revising. To avoid similarity use your own words in description.
