My assignment is part of group business plan assignment , my part is marketing plan and market analysis for new product
the new product overview is Abstract � A fingerprint scanning system at point of sale for all financial transactions. This will
greatly reduce the chances of theft or misuse as without the card owner’s fingerprint it will not let
the user to proceed with the payment and also make transactions take a fraction of the time it
presently takes.

Introduction
At POS checkouts, we design a fingerprint scanning checkout using an already existing scanner
and simply upgrading it with the payment systems already in use by different financial
institutions. So when its time to pay you can either swipe your card and use a pin pad to pay
which is not a safe way OR simply use the fingerprint scanner without the hassle of swipping
your card and keying in your pins which would drastically save time.
Also, there would be no limitations on maximum payment as it applies to paypass and paywave
features on many cards in use.
The user will just need to hover the card over the scanner like a paypass for it to recognise the
user and then the biometrics scanner will proceed to ask the user to scan his/her fingerprint. If
the system matches the print to the one in system it will proceed with the payment else it will ask
to retry.
