1) Proposal- you will develop a short proposal that reviews the general topic and why you think it merits investigation. Particular emphasis should be placed on the problem you are researching, the decisions that you will make based on your research and the overall research question that will be answered. The proposal must be approved by the professor before proceeding with the secondary research review. The proposal must include the bibliography of at least five quality reference.

2) Secondary Research Review- You must thoroughly research your project using secondary information sources available both in the library and on the internet. You must document all sources and be extremely careful to the quality of information obtained on the internet. The secondary research review must include bibliography of at least 10 references and many also take the form of a review literature.

3) Research Design – It is crucial that you consult the textbook extensively in developing your research design and it is very important to focus on justifying every element of your design. The design should address the following:
a) Specific research questions that you are attempting to answer.
b) Selection and justification of the survey, observation and or experimental methods for collecting data.
c) Research questionnaire.
d) Sample selection.
e) Detailed explanation and justification of how you will implement data collection method. All appropriate measurement concepts such as reliability, validity, – and attitude measurement and questionnaire design.
f) Approach for analyzing the data.
