The goal of the assignment is to focus on intersectionality. You should incorporate at least five subject positions (e.g., gender, sexuality, ?race,? ethnicity, national identity, religion, social class, age, place, etc.) in your analysis, and discuss how they intersect. At least one of these five subject positions should be different from your own.
In your analysis, you should use at least one cultural studies concept and the circuit of style-fashion-dress (with at least one ?structure of feeling?) to aid you in delving deeply into the theme of intersectionality and associated power relationships. Please highlight, in bold, the cultural studies concept(s) you use. (You are encouraged to use additional concepts, as well, if they help in your analysis.)
You should also include at least 5 references in your final paper. Be sure to provide complete citations for each reference (including any visuals), using the format of your choice. At least 3 of these should be academic references, which you can supplement with popular sources (as many as you like?e.g., newspaper or magazine articles, websites, blogs, movies) that help you to describe your topic or theme in greater depth. You should have a minimum of 12 references. Please use MLA format for your citation of the references.
