The reason why I want to be a US Army Officer

I have a few reasons why I want to be part of the best leadership an Army has to offer and that is my children; I want them to love the freedom I enjoy, my feelings on this are if I set a proper example they will treasure the privileges they have by being born in a free nation I want to instill in them the courage to protect their country, and to fight for their rights.
I stand for the principles of the freedom, democracy, right to speak, exercise our religion, and be educated and the many other privileges we enjoy living in a free country. I want my children to forget the American dream and have an American reality based on hard work by setting short and long term goals.
The real challenge for me and my personal goal is to live for my country every day; as a soldier on occasions I will give up the comfort of my home, to deploy or execute any field exercise and I know this will help me share the passion I have for my country men and women.
It is the discipline, the time, the Perseverance, the sacrifice and loyalty among other virtues what builds great leaders. My desire is to absorb and release the knowledge with those like me that choose to serve. I believe that knowledge makes you free; therefore I want to educate myself as much as possible because the responsibility is to great for anybody including myself to make poor decisions.
Freedom has a high price. I want to live as a soldier; I am ready to die for my beliefs. I will stand ready to destroy the oppressor or to die, because is easier to die for the freedom, than live like a slave.
I want to be an Officer because I want to be the best soldier that I can be. I want to be an officer because I am proud to be an American soldier.
The American way of life truly has a beacon of light in me; that’s why I will always serve. I believe in the system and I always stand ready to keep our nation safe from those who stand against it and above all protect the ones that will lead our country tomorrow so I must set the example today.
One thing that could simplify the way I see things is to mention is always easy to say how you are going to make a change but you are only a true patriot when you do something about it.
